Environment Concept/Inspiration

Our overall inspiration for the environment is going to be largely from the Gum Swamp in the Great Smokey Mountains. The trees will basically consist of Tupelo and Cypress specifically found in swamps. Although the overall location and environment will be largely fictional.

I did some photo-bashing to get the overall mood/look of the environment across. If you reference our recent AI mechanics test the lighting, atmosphere, and rain is something imagine to be an element in the final.

The player will also go through a cave in the beginning. Which I have found deciding the proper scale to be finicky so far, but will roughly resemble this one.
